Verify Chesterfield Same-Day Releases

If the jail already keeps a daily release report, a requester may seek that existing document for a stated date. The office does not have to create a rolling report that it does not maintain. Any later-produced report must be read by its actual covered period and field labels, not assumed to represent the prior 24 clock hours.
Where Chesterfield Releases Exit
Chesterfield publishes a useful fact that many jurisdictions do not. The official Jail Operations page says people released from Chesterfield County Jail can be picked up at the side gate beside the Magistrate's Office. No fixed daily release hour is published. A judge's ruling or posted bond starts a process; it does not place the person at the gate at once.

A transfer can cause a change, and data may lag. If the person moved into VADOC custody, the state locator may show current state custody or supervision after its own update. If the person fully discharged from VADOC, the locator may later return no match.
A durable same-day confirmation pairs the operational event with its authority: Sheriff release entry plus the relevant court disposition for local custody, or the VADOC release artifact plus the state or court record for a state release.
